Commission Inquiry Form
Important information for commissions
-
I cannot guarantee that all commission requests will be accepted.
I am open to challenges and love to get creative! With this being said, I may not be the right artist to bring your idea to life, and that is okay.
If the volume of requests is too high, I may also not be able to accept your commission at that time. You are welcome to resubmit at a later date!
I will do my best to keep this page updated to state if my commissions are open or closed.

I primarily work in the mediums of painting and drawing styles of realism and impressionism. With this being said — I am more than willing to discuss taking on projects that don’t fit within those categories!
generally I will do:
paintings
drawings
illustrations
tattoo designs
and subjects such as:
portraits (my specialty)
landscapes
objects and still life
landscapes
animals
Have a specific vision? Don’t hesitate to reach out to see if I am the artist who can help you bring it to life!

I do my best to keep my pricing consistent and reflective of the piece.
If I am interested in taking on your commission, I can provide you with an approximate quote. If you decide you would like to move forward, you will be given the final price at the time of the work’s completion. I aim for the final price to be equal to or within a reasonable range of the quote you were initially given.
Please note: I require a $50-$100 deposit (depending on the scale of the project) to begin working on your commission. The cost of the deposit will be subtracted from the final price of the work. See “deposits” section for additional information.
As of now, I determine prices one of two ways:
per linear inch — (height + width) x set rate ($20)
hourly wage x hours spent + cost of materials
I reserve the right to determine which formula is the best fit for the price of each artwork. Most often I price by linear inch. Hourly wage pricing is typically used for less rendered, looser, and quicker pieces in order to keep the price reasonable and best represent the work required.

I require a $50-$100 deposit (depending on the scale of the project) to begin working on your commission.
I will let you know the cost of the deposit alongside your quote for final price of the artwork. The cost of the deposit will be subtracted from the final price.
Deposits are to be made via Interac e-Transfer. Deposits are non-refundable (the only exception being that if I am unexpectedly unable to fulfil your commission, you will be issued a refund)
Deposits function to help ensure the client’s investment in the commission and avoid the instance of discontinued communication from a client after their artwork has been finished.

While I do have set pricing, I strive to accommodate budgets and make art accessible to the best of my ability.
If you have a budget, I am open to discussing ways in which I can make your commission fit within it. This could include doing it in a smaller size or less rendered style.
With this being said, I do not guarantee my ability to accommodate all budgets. Some projects may be too demanding, time consuming or detailed to fit within a budget range.
-
Timelines for commissions may vary depending on:
the scale of the project (size and detail level)
The amount of active commissions I have.
I will only accept 2-3 commissions at a time ( 1 on the go and 1-2 in line).
When I receive your inquiry I will provide you with an approximate timeline for the completion of your commission. This includes:
My estimation for how long the artwork itself will take me to complete
Your position in the que of commission requests. If I have a “line” and you would like to reserve a spot, I will reach out to confirm your interest when you are up next.
While I will try my best to give you my best estimation on timeline, it is subject to change. I am a perfectionist and prioritize giving you my best work. I will notify you of any timeline changes.
-
If I decide I am willing to take on your commission, I will reach out to discuss additional details and provide you with a quote for the cost and timeline of the work.
Once you confirm that you are comfortable with the price and timeline and desire to move forward, I will ask you to send a deposit. Once the deposit is received, your commission will be confirmed and I will get to work!
-
When I am nearing the completion of your commission I will reach out to you about the best way to get it to you. There are a few options:
Pickup: I am currently located in Erin, Ontario , Canada. If you are local to the area and/or would prefer to collect the artwork in person, we can arrange for you to pick it up.
Have it shipped: If you would prefer to have it delivered, I can mail the artwork to you.
important:
You will need to provide me with all necessary shipping information
The cost of shipping is the responsibility of the buyer
The ability to ship some artworks may be limited by paint drying times. If you are commissioning an oil painting, I will reach out at the beginning of the process to discuss the details and options regarding wet paint and drying.
-
At this time, the only payments I accept are:
Interac e-Transfer
cash (for in person pickups only)
note: initial deposits must be paid via Interac e-Transfer
